According to the nutritionist, in order to strengthen the heart, improving its protection against age-related diseases, one should eat a handful of nuts every day.

The doctor noted in an interview that the habit of regularly eating a few nuts has a positive effect on the health of the heart muscle, and this is a proven fact.

“Many reputable scientific studies have proven the effectiveness of consuming nuts for the prevention of heart disease,” the doctor said.

The expert explained that the use of nuts prevents the occurrence of such dangerous pathologies as atherosclerosis, stroke, myocardial infarction.

The nutritionist recommended consuming 20 or 30 g of various nuts per day. The specialist specified that the nuts should not be pre-fried or roasted. In addition, they should not contain salt and sugar.
