According to the doctor, nutritionist-endocrinologist Angelika Chizh, there is no need to give up certain foods even for those who are losing weight.
The doctor said in an interview that the human body produces the hormone somatotropin before midnight, which acts as a fat burning component. The specialist states that to stimulate its production, it is useful to eat egg whites at night – this is a product that can burn fat during sleep.
Angelica Chizh clarified: to make the body burn fat more intensively during sleep, you should perform two steps.
“The first step is to eat two boiled egg whites before going to bed. The second step is to go to bed before 11 o'clock in the evening”.
The doctor also talked about products that should be present in the diet even for those who lose excess weight. First of all, these are sources of protein: chicken, lean meat or turkey, as well as eggs or fish.
You should also consume fiber in the form of fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, greens. In addition, drink enough water.
