The causative agent of the disease is the ascomycete Monilia. It mainly affects stone fruit trees. It is a dangerous fungal disease. You need to react in time so as not to lose the tree.
Never leave carrion. Clean it up in time, because rotten fruits will be a source of disease. Damaged fruits should also be removed from the branches. Cut off the dried ends of the shoots with sharp pruners.
After the leaves fall, you need to dig up the trunk circles. And then it's time for the treatments that are carried out in the spring before flowering. Spray the plum with Bordeaux liquid. Repeated treatment should also be carried out after flowering. The proportion is standard – 100 g of Bordeaux mixture per 10 liters of water.
