The gardeners explained whether it is possible to transplant cucumbers if they have grown densely

If you have dealt with the problem of planting cucumbers and they have grown well, then another may arise – and they have grown too thick! Is it possible to plant, transplant plants?

Details

Cucumbers usually just break through. But if you feel sorry for the plants, then you can transplant, but very carefully: carefully dig up the cucumbers together with the soil and move them to a new place.

Before starting this operation, you need to prepare the holes where you will transplant. Then carefully place the dug seedling so that the earth does not fall off and expose the roots. After that, water well with a saltpeter solution (20 g of calcium nitrate per 10 liters of water). This is necessary in order to help the plant take root. And then sprinkle with loosened soil.

It is better to place such cucumbers not in the sun, but in the shade, you can even under a small tree. And be sure to water the first few days so that the roots take hold of the ground in the new place.

As you can see, you can transplant, but in time so that the cucumbers do not start to spread.
