The harm of foil that you did not know about: save yourself from danger

You can prepare delicious food in various ways. Baked dishes have a special aroma. Housewives use aluminum foil for this. Almost every housewife has it. Its universality and hygiene are attractive. At the same time, no special skills are required, everything is simple, fast and convenient. It is good to cover, wrap or pack cooked food with foil. However, the harm of foil is obvious.

What harm does the use of aluminum foil in the kitchen cause to our health?

Unfortunately, there is evidence that the use of foil in food preparation is harmful to health, because:

  • aluminum contained in foil is a serious danger to the brain. This heavy metal can cause Alzheimer's disease. In humans, the coordination of movements is disturbed, memory problems arise.
  • aluminum is no less harmful for bones: calcium is displaced and the harmful metal accumulates in them in large quantities.
  • the greatest danger is the foil for breathing. It can cause respiratory diseases. In the worst case, pulmonary fibrosis is possible. Aluminum in the body accumulates in different ways. Some people constantly buy drinks in aluminum cans, others use deodorants with this heavy metal.

This is all true, but household foil is no less dangerous. Of course, no one eats it in pieces. It enters the body imperceptibly, as if a person swallows flakes of foil that remain on food.

When it is heated to a high level, the scales crack and peel off. They are so small that they are invisible in food. A person eats them together with what was baked in foil.

If foil is used in food preparation, even spices and acidic products can be dangerous. At the same time, chemical leaching of the metal occurs.

The damage to the foil is obvious. There are a number of ways to help preserve your health:

• you should forever abandon the use of foil, anywhere. It is not dangerous only when using it as a wrapper for cold products. But for greater safety, it is advisable to use glass containers;
• it is forbidden to use foil as a wrapper for storing spices, tomatoes and all citrus fruits. The acid contained in them leaches aluminum from foil into products;
• you should get rid of aluminum dishes. At the slightest opportunity, it should be replaced with stainless steel;

Many women have long since replaced foil with food parchment. It is absolutely safe for health.
