Previously, scientists also linked childbirth after 30 with longevity, but experts assumed that having a child can accelerate the aging process. And now researchers from Korea claim that the best period for childbirth is 24-25 years. They came to this conclusion after examining more than 4,000 women.
It was found that mothers who gave birth to a baby before or after this age were 5% more likely to die from any cause in the next year and a half. Moreover, this trend changed with the letter U, which means that the risk became higher as soon as a woman moved away from the desired age of 24-25. At the same time, giving birth at a younger age is not recommended, since most often girls from disadvantaged families gave birth at a young age, which exposed them to the risk of mental and physical ailments.
