The last bell in Kyiv and the issuance of education certificates: the authorities have determined the dates

The Kyiv City Hall announced the date of the last bell for schoolchildren in the 2023/2024 academic year. It is expected to sound on May 31.

The corresponding decision was made, taking into account the fact that the capital's educational institutions did not suspend the educational process, did not postpone the vacation dates, and generally did not adjust the schedule of the academic year, but worked in accordance with the educational programs approved by the pedagogical councils.

He noted, that the organization of comfortable learning conditions during another war year has become a priority task for the city's schools. Thanks to the city budget, schools were maximally prepared to work in difficult conditions.

“We managed not only to set up the Internet in the shelters, which is one of the main levers of a smooth educational process, but also to ensure the schools' work without fan power outages. Also, distance learning and the work of schools in the second shift were clearly organized, which made it possible for all educational institutions to work effectively,” said the representative of the KMDA.

As part of the preparation for the national multimedia testing, educational institutions were recommended to apply in May for graduates /graduates of 11th grades, the transformer model instead of the usual class-lesson training – individualized-group, with the aim of deepening, systematizing knowledge of selected subjects and relieving stress in the conditions of martial law.

The Department of Education and Science offered to issue , complying with security requirements, documents about education, according to the schedule:

• certificate of primary education – in the period from May 31 to June 7;
• certificate of basic secondary education of education – in the period from June 13 to 19;
• certificate of completion of general secondary education – in the period from June 20 to 26.

Remember, in Kharkiv, the first underground school in Ukraine. It is designed for 900 students.
