A total of 41 substances were isolated, including 14 known vitamins (A, B-1, B-2, B-6, B-12, C, D, E, K, biotin, choline, folic acid and niacin) and 16 essential minerals, including calcium, chloride, chromium, cobalt, copper, iodine and iron. In addition, experts singled out two types of omega-3 acids and nine amino acids in a special group.

According to nutritionist Robin Foroutan, this means that you need to include in the diet as much plant food as possible. “Think of it as a therapeutic serving of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes and all the other goodies that nature has prepared for us,” she said.
