“Cardiovascular diseases are the main cause of death in the world. Of the 17 million deaths from non-communicable diseases under the age of 70, 82% occur in low- and middle-income countries, 37% of them are cardiovascular diseases,” the message reads. , that many diseases can be avoided, and also reminded about the main risk factors for their development:
- high blood pressure;
- high cholesterol, blood sugar;
- overweight;
- hypodynamia;
- smoking;
- alcohol consumption;
- stress;
- age (cardiovascular diseases are most common in people over 50, the risk of their development increases with age);
- gender (men are more likely to get sick at an early age than women).

The CGZ added that cardiovascular diseases can be prevented with the help of prevention – a healthy lifestyle and timely consultation with a doctor.
