The most delicious way to preserve grapes: to prepare jam for the winter
1
Grape jam and apples
Fragrant, tender, thick, bright and tasty – it will turn out just like that.
Ingredients:
- Apples – 1 kg
- Grapes – 1 kg
- Water – 100 ml
- Sugar – 500 g
Preparation:
- Core the apples and cut the fruit into small pieces.
2․ Place grapes and apples in a saucepan. Add water, bring to a boil and cook over moderate heat with the lid on for about 30 minutes.
3․ Wipe the resulting mass through a strainer to get rid of bones and skin. (If the grapes are seedless and the skin of the apples is not thick, you can simply beat them with a blender).
4․ Mix the puree with sugar, bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook, stirring, for 10 minutes over medium-high heat, then 5-10 minutes over low heat. Skim the foam from the surface.
5․ Pour the finished jam into sterilized jars and close with lids. Turn, wrap and cool.
You will have 1 liter of jam and some left over for the sample. Delicious jam!
