A new study showed that this eating habits contribute to a high risk of premature death – it refers to the tendency to add salt to dishes that have already been prepared.
People who add extra salt to their food while sitting at the table are susceptible – this is shown by the results of the study.

“Compared to those who never or rarely added salt to their meals, people who always added it to their food had a 28 percent higher risk of premature death,” the authors of the study stated.
“Dine out less often and use a salt shaker at the table as little as possible, learn cooking methods that help reduce sodium intake,” the doctor shared his advice.
