The beauty of Kyiv has always attracted tourists, especially foreign ones. Back in 1966, Georg Oddner, one of Sweden's most outstanding photographers of the 20th century, visited the capital of Ukraine, and with the help of his camera he preserved and transmitted to us the nuances of the city's life.
Archive photos were published in to the “Thirst” community: it's interesting in Kyiv” on the Facebook social network. You can see what the capital was like 58 years ago.

It is worth adding that Georg Oddner (October 17, 1923 – October 7, 2007) was one of the most outstanding Swedish photographers of the 20th century.
However, they began to build it secretly, and in order to get the appropriate permission, they submitted documents that it was supposed to be a cinema.
