Few people know, but the first television and radio tower in Kyiv was located in the center on Khreshchatyk Street. For more than 20 years, it could be seen from various districts of the capital.
Old photos were published in the community “Group 1900-1999 years. Kyiv” on the Facebook social network. Starting from the 1990s, Ukrainian television moved from the city center to Dorohozhychi Street.
