According to the nutritionist, chocolate cannot be called a product that is necessary in the daily diet. For those who are used to its use, the specialist advised to eat the caloric treat exclusively in moderate quantities. The harmless amount of chocolate that you can allow yourself every day is a rather modest portion, the nutritionist clarified.
“If it is difficult for you to live without chocolate, then on average you can eat about 15 grams every day, no more.”< /p>
The doctor added that it is better to use dark chocolate (with a cocoa content of at least 50%), not milk, because it contains less sugar.
In general, according to the nutritionist, cravings for sweets are better to satisfy at the expense of healthier varieties of dessert products – natural marmalade or pastille, marshmallows, dried fruits. There is no fat in such delicacies, but there are dietary fibers and other useful components.
But in the presence of prediabetes and diabetes, allergies, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, the daily consumption of sweets should be abandoned, the doctor emphasized.
