Nutritionist said that eating red meat can lead to the development of intestinal cancer. According to her statement, there are three products that should not be combined with meat delicacies.
First of all, it is necessary to abandon the combination of melon with meat. The nutritionist reported that absorption can slow down at the expense of each other. Melon is quite sweet, for this reason it is digested in the mouth, meat – in the stomach. At the same time, when a melon enters the body, the meat does not have time to digest (it needs at least 4 hours for this).
Sweet foods can slow down the action of pepsin and enzymes that digest animal protein. With this combination, the pancreas receives a signal, due to which insulin is released to move glucose inside the cell. Thus, bloating can occur as a result of the fermentation of the meat.
Foods that contain starch do not go well with meat. “People's cuisine is full of recipes for pies with potatoes and meat. The first is sliced very thinly, but the starch does not go anywhere. For this reason, the enzymes of meat and potatoes “conflict”, negatively affecting the state of health,” the doctor said.
The nutritionist advises to use blue potatoes, which contain little starch. It goes well with meat. “This product is enriched with fiber and anthocyanins, which are anti-cancer substances. When consuming more than 60 g of animal protein, carcinogens are formed in the body. The product eliminates potential harm to health,” said the doctor.
You should also not combine meat with milk or cheese. “Lactose conflicts with animal proteins, disrupting the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract”.
