< According to the expert, the best option is not to replace sugar, but to minimize its use. However, this is often not as easy as it seems, which is why the expert recommends resorting to one of the three proposed options.
Erythritol
10 times sweeter than sugar. Contained in mushrooms, vegetables and fruits, fermented products (wine and soy sauce). In case of overdose, it has a laxative effect, so women should consume no more than 0.8 grams per kilogram of body weight, and men – no more than 0.66 grams.
Stevia
Two hundred times sweeter than sugar. It is considered the safest among natural substitutes.
Sucralose
One tablet is equivalent to one bar of refined sugar in terms of sweetness. Glycemic index and caloric content are equal to zero. Does not lose its properties when exposed to high temperatures.
