The oldest man in Great Britain told how to live to be 110 years old

A resident of a British city Southport John Alfred Tiniswood recently celebrated his 110th birthday. For his birthday, he received a greeting card from Queen Elizabeth II. The man couldn't believe it when he was told he had become the longest-living man in the country, British media reported. At the same time, in his opinion, the secret of longevity is simple and consists of only one word.

As Tiniswood points out, the main thing is moderation. “Moderation in everything and in all things,” adds the veteran. Another piece of advice he gives to those who want to live to his age is to constantly develop, expand their horizons and move forward all the time. “Don't stop at one thing all the time, otherwise you will find yourself on a narrow path,” explains the Briton.

Currently, the man lives in a local home for the elderly. According to him, the warmest memories in his life were connected with the wedding and the birth of his daughter. He also admits that he does not feel his age at all, and his friends are younger than him. “I don't feel old, I keep up with my friends,” added Tinniswood.
