Coffee not only gives strength and improves mood, it can also bring great health benefits, scientists are sure. According to research, drinking this morning drink not only reduces the risk of heart disease, but also prolongs life.
For example, in one study, experts studied the relationship between daily coffee consumption and mortality from all causes and cardiovascular diseases Almost 469,000 people participated in it, of which 22.1% did not drink coffee regularly, 58.4% drank 0.5–3 cups a day, and 19.5% drank more than three cups a day. Compared to non-coffee drinkers, those who drank 0.5 to 3 cups of the beverage per day were associated with a lower risk of all-cause mortality, the experts noted.
Another study also confirmed the benefits of coffee for longevity. Scientists used data on 502,600 people from the UK Biobank with follow-up. “Coffee consumption was associated with mortality, particularly among those who drank eight or more cups per day,” experts concluded.
