Psychologist with 11 years of experience Yuliya Shchepareva explained why people endlessly post photos of everything in a row on social media. As it turned out, the reason is not always visible. It's loneliness. 

According to the specialist, social networks are designed to bring people together, but in reality it turns out to be the opposite. And every posted photo is a chance to get noticed. And since there are no significant events, people publish everything around them – like daily photos of coffee in hand. Familiar?

The second reason is recognition of people, praise. The need for admiration. According to the psychologist, the need for praise drives people. This is how ideal “Insta-moms”, athletes, vegans, vapers and other individuals appear. In addition, all these photos create the illusion of prosperity and abundance.

Schepareva warned fans of social networks that such hobbies threaten something more serious than psychological problems. For example, attracting the attention of fraudsters, robbers, etc.
