The secret to storing cut avocados so they don't turn brown

Avocado is a healthy exotic fruit that came to us from Mexico and has long been a favorite of many. This unsweetened fruit goes well with various products, so it often appears in our grocery cart.

But there is one problem: once cut, it quickly spoils, turns black, and loses its appetizing appearance and taste. To prevent this, it is best to place the fruit in an airtight container and place a cut onion next to it. The secret is that onions secrete enzymes that help keep cut avocados in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. And the appearance of the avocado will not change.

But the whole fruit is better stored at room temperature. And only when it is fully ripe, you can put it in the refrigerator in a container for vegetables and fruits.
