The size of the brain can be calculated by the way a person yawns

Scientists have long found out why a person yawns. It turns out that this is a protective reaction of the body to overheating of the brain. During yawning, the brain cools down and then gets back to work.
Researchers went further and decided to find out if any more information can be obtained about yawning.
Recent experiments involving several dozen species of mammals and birds showed that the duration of yawning directly depends on the size of the brain. This is due to the fact that the larger the brain, the more time it takes to yawn to cool it down.
Also, scientists believe that people with a large number of neural connections tend to yawn more often, because their brain heats up faster.
