The time of day affects the benefits of physical activity

Numerous studies have demonstrated the role of physical activity in improving health I hearts of patients with type 2 diabetes. But whether the time of day when you exercise has an effect is unknown.
A new study presented in the journal Diabetes Care reports a correlation between the time of moderate and vigorous physical activity and the cardiovascular system, as well as health risks of people with type 2 diabetes and obesity or overweight.
Scientists conducted a study involving 2,035 people. Men who were physically active in the morning had the highest risk of developing coronary heart disease (CHD), regardless of the amount and intensity of weekly physical activity.
Men who were most active in the afternoon had lower levels of cardiorespiratory fitness. In women, the researchers did not find a connection between a certain time of activity and the risk of coronary heart disease or cardiorespiratory level.
