Modern legislation does not envisage such a war or such a problem.
This is what the ambassador of Ukraine in Moldova Marko Shevchenko spoke on the air of the program on TV8, reports Ukrinform.
He noted that the current legislation and legal framework on refugee issues both in Europe and in Moldova are not adapted to the situation that Ukraine faced during the war , and no developed procedure predicted the beginning of a full-scale war in Europe in the 21st century and the appearance of millions of refugees and those who are popularly called “evaders”.
As for Moldova, we have a certain dialogue, Shevchenko said. .
The Ukrainian diplomat said that first of all, it is necessary to solve the issue with those citizens who have been refused asylum by Moldova, but they do not return to Ukraine.
This problem is difficult to solve, since there is no single verified statistics on the number of men of conscription age who entered the territory of Moldova, Shevchenko noted.
