If you are very tired in the evening and find that the refrigerator is empty, then the option is to go to the nearest grocery store. At the same time, it is important to know which products are not ready to be eaten immediately after purchase.
If you buy these five products, do not eat them right away. In any case, they will need time to become safe for health.
Light green avocados. They should lie at home for several days before they can be cut. So if you want to snack right away, these avocados are not the best choice.
Frozen meat. Ground beef can take up to 12 hours to defrost. If you're in a hurry, it's better to buy small pieces of meat.
Tomatoes. Ripe fruits are very easy to damage on the way, so it's better to choose those that need a little more time to ripen. Keep such tomatoes in a box in a dark room for several days.
Green bananas. They may take you two to three days to ripen.
Frozen fish. Large pieces of fish will take especially long to defrost. If you're in a hurry, it's better to choose fresh seafood.
