A neurologist told what triggers migraines are.
“For example, these can be foods: chocolate, nuts, yogurts and aged cheeses, as well as alcohol (sparkling wines, red wine, beer), excessive intake of coffee and caffeinated drinks.
Headaches can often occur in hungry people, those who drink little fluid during the day or move little. “The trigger can be a violation of the diet: skipping meals, low-calorie diets,” the specialist said.
In addition, migraines can be triggered by bright light, “suffocating” aromas, stress, prolonged static loads, such as sitting at a computer, menstruation. Some people also report a reaction to the weather.
