They are detained even after updating the data: when men can be taken from the street to the TCC

Employees of the procurement centers inform the population about mobilization measures. If they have a question about a citizen of conscription age, he can be fined, taken to the medical board or to the training center of the Armed Forces.
Ukrainians conscripted into the military during increased mobilization may find themselves in a “bus” that will take them to the territorial recruitment center for the military medical commission (MMC). Such cases occur after a meeting with the military commissars, who conduct notification measures, if they thought that the VLK took place too long ago. For what reasons citizens are detained by the police and taken to the military commissariat, Oleksandr Bondarenko, the spokesman of the Sumy Regional TCC and SP, told on the “Radio Liberty” portal.
Update of data and strengthening of mobilization
Bondarenko explained that Ukraine is in the process of updating data in accordance with the law on strengthening mobilization. Citizens have the opportunity to sign up for an electronic queue or stand in a “live queue” and provide all the necessary information. According to him, today you can see people in their 40s and 50s who are subject to reservation or have the right to a postponement near the spas. However, even after updating the data, when you meet the military commissars on the street, you can find yourself in a car that will take you to the TCC.
For what reasons are citizens taken to the military commissariat:
- if there are no registration documents, which should always be carried with you under the conditions of increased mobilization;
- if you have updated the data in the application “Rezerv+”, but the military officer saw that the VLK took place too long ago and the health report needs to be updated;
- if a citizen does not have the right to a postponement, then such a person can be mobilized and sent to a training center.
What is the liability for evasion
In addition, Bondarenko noted how military commissars can act under the conditions of increased mobilization, when a citizen does not have military registration documents during street checks. According to him, then they can also issue a fine. At the same time, he emphasized that the detention is not carried out by TCC employees, but by the police during joint patrolling.
“It is not the TCC that puts people in the “bus”, but the police, who are part of the alert group. If you don't have the documents with you, then according to the current legislation, it's an offense in general, that is, a fine should be issued immediately,” he said.
It should be noted that, under the conditions of increased mobilization, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed the law on fines for violations rules of military registration and military service. The law states that citizens may be fined from 17 to 25.5 thousand UAH in case of failure to update data. A conscript who violated the requirements of mobilization will pay more — from 41 to 53 thousand hryvnias. There is also Article 336 in the Criminal Code, which punishes evasion of mobilization: Focus told about a man who was sent to a colony for one year on such a charge.
