This is why it's good to take a bath every day

It is known that taking a bath helps to improve health and reduce the risk of developing diseases. To do this, you need to take it every day.

A team of scientists led by Shinya Hayasaki, professor and dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Tokyo City University, observed 14,000 elderly people for three years. The participants were 65 years of age and older.

It turned out that elderly people who took a bath every day were 29% less likely to need health care than those who bathed less than twice a week.

According to the results of a study involving about 30,000 people aged 40-50, taking a bath every day reduces the risk of stroke and myocardial infarction.

Bathing has three types of effects on the body. These are buoyancy, thermal and hydraulic. The most important of them is thermal. When blood vessels dilate, blood circulation improves, metabolism accelerates, and fatigue decreases. As a result, the load on the heart decreases, and blood pressure drops.

It is best to take a bath in this way. You need to bathe for 10 minutes in water whose temperature is 40 degrees Celsius. However, if you only submerge yourself halfway into the water, the time spent in it increases to 20 minutes.
