This recipe makes very tasty lightly salted mackerel

Ingredients

The following products are needed for preparation:

  • mackerel – 1 pc.;
  • bay leaves — 2 pcs.;
  • salt – 2 teaspoons;
  • salt – 1 teaspoon;
  • coriander – ⅓ teaspoon;
  • water – 0.2 l;
  • oil – 1 tbsp;
  • vinegar – 1 tbsp;
  • pea pepper – 0.5 tsp

How to cook

We start by preparing the marinade. Put sugar, salt, bay leaves, peppercorns in a pan, you can add 2 allspice peppercorns, coriander. Pour water and bring everything to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes to dissolve everything. Oil and vinegar are added last.

The fish must be cleaned. Cut off the head and fins. Cut into portions. Also chop the onion.

Place the fish and onion in a jar. Pour over the cooled marinade. Put it to marinate in the refrigerator for a day. You can use 2-3 for a better effect. Delicious.
