Those avoiding mobilization were blocked from accessing one of the services at Diya

The Ministry of Digital Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that it is now banned for persons who evade military conscription

Currently, citizens of Ukraine will be able to find out the reason for refusal to re-register a car directly in the “Diya” application. This innovation greatly facilitates the process for vehicle owners, eliminating the need for a personal visit to the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, this update will allow users to avoid “extra movements” in case of problems with re-registration. He also emphasized measures against dealers, limiting the possibility of selling through Diya to one car per year.

The Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs named the main reasons for refusing to re-register a vehicle in Diya:

• the vehicle is wanted by Interpol;
• the vehicle or license plate is wanted by the police ;
• one of the parties is wanted by the police, i.e., it is, in particular, about persons who are pricked by mobilization;
• the vehicle registration certificate or passport is displayed in the police database as lost;
• the seller has active open enforcement proceedings;
• existing encumbrances in the registers of the Ministry of Justice on the prohibition of alienation;
• the vehicle is material evidence in a criminal case.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs also confirmed that the update is already available to users. It is important to note that after the identified cause is eliminated, the owner will be able to re-submit an application for re-registration both online and in person at the service center. This service in Diya is available only to individuals and covers cars, motorcycles and mopeds.
