Three hidden signs will indicate high blood sugar

Diabetes is a common disease , which affects about 300 million people worldwide. But many people do not even suspect that they are at risk because of the “silent” signs of the disease.
Such symptoms remain unnoticed for a long time, which increases the likelihood of developing heart problems or nerve damage. As explained at the Wayne UNC Health Care Clinic, the most common hidden signs of high blood sugar are unusual tingling sensations in various parts of the body. This condition is caused by an excessive amount of sugar in the blood, which damages the nerve endings.
Another symptom of the disease is itching of the skin and long healing of bruises. “Diabetes has many early signs, but some symptoms are unclear. If you notice them, try switching to a low-carb diet consisting of proteins and leafy vegetables. Avoid sugary drinks and drink at least 2 liters of water a day. It is quite possible that within a few days all these signs will disappear,” the doctors advised.
Experts explained that minor symptoms may not be related to diabetes, but may be the result of eating too many carbohydrates, which the body cannot cope with. For example, tingling can be caused by poor blood circulation, and itching caused by allergies or eczema.
However, if at least two of these signs appear at the same time, it is better to go to the hospital. If left untreated, diabetes increases the risk of heart disease or stroke, as well as some types of cancer and kidney problems.
