Three soil requirements to make Zamioculcas grow twice as fast

Zamioculcas is one of those plants that are often said to be unpretentious in care and growing conditions. In a certain sense, this is true, but first you need to create suitable conditions for the plant in which it will grow well.

What Zamioculcas needs

The plant belongs to the category of succulents. And certain conditions are required for the development of the root system. If your Zamioculcas has stopped growing, analyze the following conditions:

  • Breathability. It is important that the soil is not dense. The plant's root system must breathe for full functioning.
  • Drainage. It is needed no less than light soil for the lock. Drainage helps to avoid stagnation of moisture, which can cause the root system to rot.
  • Soil acidity. A very important criterion for the harmonious development of the plant. The indicator should be at a pH level of about 6.0–7.0.

Pay attention to the listed factors. Especially if you see that the plant has slowed down in growth, its leaves have turned yellow, and there are signs of rot on the roots.
