In the air
The method is suitable if the weather is still sunny and warm. Parsley can be bundled and hung to dry, or finely chopped. The first method is simpler and requires less preparatory work. If you want to dry already cut parsley, then spread it on flat surfaces. You can in the shade. Alternatively, you can dry it indoors. It should be well ventilated.
In the oven
The oven is heated to 45 °C. Spread a thin layer on a baking sheet and dry for 1.5-2 hours. If there is a lot of parsley, it will take 5-6 hours. The greens should be stirred periodically. Note that the oven door does not close.
In the microwave oven
Drying in the microwave is simple, but in small portions. Cover the glass dish with a paper napkin. Parsley is dried at maximum power for 2 minutes. If necessary, turn on again, but for a maximum of 1 minute, so as not to overdry.
In the same way, you can dry other greens that you want to save for the winter. Dill, basil, cilantro – your dishes in winter will have the aroma of summer.
