Throw this out of your house before the New Year: 7 things in your kitchen that you don't need
0
Before the New Year, most of us resort to general cleaning at home, so that from January 1 everything shines and stands in its place. In order to bring something new into life, we advise you to remove old things that have outlived their usefulness and buy new ones instead.
Old sponges
Sponges contain a lot of bacteria , so they should be changed every week in the kitchen. Therefore, throw away the sponges that you have been using for a long time to wash the bathtub or other things in the apartment.
Cutting boards
Small scratches on the cutting board can become breeding grounds for bacteria, so don't be lazy and replace them with new.
Unused devices
Take inventory and get rid of everything you don't use. This could be a kitchen scale, a milk frother, a hand blender, etc.
Disposable cutlery and condiments
If you have a lot of condiments, check their expiration dates and throw them away. If you can't see the expiration date, throw away any that look old and unlikely to be used again.
Fridge magnets
Keep only your favorite magnets in the kitchen and throw away the rest. Get rid of especially those that remind you of people from the past or bring back not entirely pleasant memories.
Coffee
If you have coffee in your cupboard that has been sitting for a long time (about a year) – you need to throw it away, because it is definitely stale.
Oil
We often cook with sunflower oil, but we use olive oil less often. If you have such oil, the expiration date of which you do not know – it is better to get rid of it. Over time, it becomes stale, bitter, sour in taste and loses its aromatic qualities.
