The study deals with the relationship between the frequency of food intake and changes in the body mass index (BMI). After processing the data of 50.66 thousand people, the scientists managed to establish their eating habits: how often they eat, whether they eat breakfast, what is their biggest meal.
It turned out that those of the subjects who ate the most breakfast, had the lowest BMI compared to those who skipped breakfast or ate the most at lunch.
“Eating a hearty breakfast can be one of the effective methods in the fight against extra pounds,” the researchers said.< /p>
