If you love squid, but are always faced with a choice – how to cook squid, know that you will find your recipe here. It would seem that squid dishes are exquisite – but they are prepared quickly, besides, they are healthy, tasty, appropriate for any table and are swept off the table first.
Squid appetizer on skewers
Squid on skewers Ingredients:
- Rice vinegar – 1 tbsp
- Soy sauce – 1½ tbsp
- Liquid honey – 1 tsp
- Ginger – 1 small piece
- Garlic – 1 clove
- Peeled squid carcasses – 500 g
Preparation
- Mix vinegar with soy sauce, honey, finely grated ginger and garlic passed through a press.
- Cut the squid into not too thin rings or slices. Pour over the marinade, mix well and refrigerate for one and a half to two hours.
- Thread the squid onto skewers and place on a baking sheet or in a baking dish. Bake for about 8 minutes at 200 °C.
Squid marinated in wine vinegar
Marinated squid
Ingredients:
- Peeled squid carcasses – 500 g
- Garlic – 3 cloves
- Water – 200 ml
- Salt – 2 tsp
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Vegetable oil – 1-2 tbsp. tbsp
- Wine vinegar – 1 tbsp. spoon
- Bay leaf – 1 pc.
- Black peppercorns – 6-8 pcs.
- Allspice peas – 4-5 pcs.
Preparation
- Cut squid into rings or strips, garlic into small pieces.
- Boil water. Add salt and sugar to it. When all the crystals have dissolved, pour in the oil and vinegar.
- Drop the squid into the boiling marinade and mix. After boiling, wait 40-60 seconds and remove from the heat.
- At the bottom of the jar, put the bay leaf, about a third of the garlic and a few peppercorns.
- Fill the jar halfway with seafood, add a little more garlic and pepper.
- Lay out the squid pieces, garlic and pepper. Pour marinade.
- Cover the jar with a lid, and when its contents have cooled, put it in the refrigerator for a day.

Squid stuffed with crab sticks
Ingredients:
- Squid – 3 pieces
- Crab sticks – 150-200 g
- Processed cheese – 100 g
- Garlic – 1–2 cloves
- Mayonnaise – for to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
- Boil the squid, clean it and cool it completely.
- Grate the crab sticks and cheese on a fine grater. Pass the garlic through a press. Mix everything with mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
- Fill the squid with the filling and leave in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes. Cut into rings before serving.
