The soil needs to be systematically disinfected. During the season, plants are repeatedly exposed to the negative effects of various pathogens. If bacteria, viruses and infections are not neutralized, they remain in the soil for the next year. As a result, plants are affected by them again.
Acetic acid. One of the most famous means for soil disinfection. Can be used at temperatures from +1 to +40 degrees. You need to make a working mixture. It consists of:
- 9% vinegar – 0.5 l;
- 3% hydrogen peroxide – 0.1 l.
Mix everything together. But do not rush to use. Let it brew for 7-10 days in a dark place. Then use according to the following principle. Dissolve one glass of this liquid in a bucket of water (10 l). The soil should be shed so that the moisture is 1.5 cm.
Iron vitriol. For disinfection, you also need to prepare a working solution. To do this, dissolve 0.5 kg of the product together with 0.5 kg of urea in a bucket of water. The soil is treated with this solution.
