Ukraine kept the size of prize money for Olympians at the previous level. For the gold medal, the athlete will receive 125,000 dollars from the state. Acting Minister of Youth and Sports, Matviy Bidny, reported this on the air of “We-Ukraine”.
The main motivation of athletes today is to bring Ukraine closer to victory. They realize the importance of their performances and the presence of the national team at international competitions.
The Ukrainian flag and coat of arms in sports arenas cause a wave of support from representatives of other countries.
“But I am convinced that it is not is the biggest motivation for our athletes today. Everyone thinks only about the approach of our victory and understands the importance of personal performances and the presence of the national team at these competitions. When someone sees our flag and coat of arms, everyone comes and expresses their support,” said Matviy Bidny.
