Ukrainian education for children in the Kursk region: the reaction of the Ministry of Education and Culture has appeared
1 < p>The day before, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Education and Culture Mykhailo Vinnytsky suggested that if the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region continues, Kyiv will have to develop a plan on how to provide education for children in Russian-controlled territories.
Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mykhailo Vinnytskyi said that Ukraine can provide education for residents of the Kursk region, where the operation of the Defense Forces has been ongoing for two weeks, but the ministry denied his words. The department's position was conveyed in the “Interfax-Ukraine” publication.
The Ministry of Education and Culture did not make any official decisions regarding the education of Russians, so the words of Mykhailo Vinnytskyi that Ukraine is ready to provide an educational process for children from the Kursk region are only his own opinion, but no more.
“Today, some media spread a comment on the topic of children's education in the Kursk region, which was voiced by Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine during a press briefing. We note that the Ministry of Education and Science did not make any relevant official decisions. Mykhailo Vynnytskyi's statement is exclusively his personal opinion and assumptions and is not the official position of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports,” the Ministry's press service said.
It is worth recalling that during the briefing on August 22, Mykhailo Vynnytskyi assumed that if the Ukrainian breakthrough in Kursk oblasts will continue, then at the end of September or the beginning of October, it is supposed to make a plan on how to ensure the education of those children who are in the territories under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This, as it turned out, is not true.
