Experts told how much electric energy from charging systems of the “ecoflow” type costs Ukrainians. The prices are not only several times higher, but also the cost of repairing such equipment will be expensive.
More details about the cost of electricity at charging stations
According to him, the final cost electricity from charging systems can reach 14-15 UAH/kWh. The cost from generators is even higher — about 20 UAH.
“When you buy “ecoflow” or another solution, the price of electricity produced by this inverter is about UAH 14-15/kWh. From the generator, the most expensive electricity is about UAH 20/kWh,” he noted.
In addition to the costs of the device itself, generator owners spend money on fuel for it. All this is very expensive.
At the same time, the expert admitted that in case of further blackouts, this will be the only manageable way to generate electricity in winter. The advantages are that such electricity does not depend on the sun, whether there is electricity in the grid to charge the inverter with the battery.
“It is expensive and it is not a solution for one apartment. This is a solution for the house,” the official stressed.
Inverters and batteries do not produce electricity, but only give the previously accumulated energy from the network, for which you also have to pay.
However, there is an additional problem of chargers of stations is the cost of equipment repair.
Tariffs for electricity from the grid
As you know, currently the population of Ukraine pays 4.32 UAH for electricity per 1 kWh The tariff was raised for the second time during the war. Last year, Ukrainians paid for electricity 2.63 UAH per kWh.
The new cost of electricity is promised not to be revised for the whole year. That is, they can return to price issues in May 2025.
What else is worth knowing
Let us remind you that the chairman of the board of NAK Naftogaz, Oleksiy Chernyshov, said that currently the main the goal is to provide a structure in which Ukrainians consume resources responsibly, and even in the event of possible market liberalization, their personal expenses do not increase. This means that the volume of gas consumed should decrease, and the price should increase.
