Unexpected impact of bad weather on women's health revealed

Cold and bad weather can worsen your well-being during menstruation, says women's health consultant Avril Flynn.
The reproductive specialist noted that in the fall, drowsiness and fatigue are felt more strongly than at any other time of year. These feelings, she said, become even more intense during menstruation. “Short daylight hours and less exposure to natural light can disrupt sleep and disrupt the body's internal rhythms. “These changes can lead to feelings of fatigue and exhaustion,” says Flynn.
Furthermore, diet changes often occur in the fall, with cravings for sweets and carbohydrates and a decrease in physical activity. At the same time, these factors can worsen menstrual symptoms, Flynn said. She added that the impact on the body also reduces fluid intake. “Dehydration can lead to feelings of fatigue and, in turn, can worsen menstrual pain and fatigue,” the expert said.
