Unusual ways to relax after a working day

We tell you how to come to your senses and relax after work of the day
Change activity type
We believe that the best rest is a change of activity. If your job involves physical activity, the best thing you can do after a busy day is to lie down. Also, types of intellectual relaxation, such as reading or watching an interesting movie, are perfect for you. If you are in the office all day or engaged in mental work, then you are shown physical relaxation, which we will talk about below.
Let your hair down, change into home clothes and remove your makeup
Office day, meetings, dress code… our body often suffers from our career ambitions, so we suggest giving it a little relaxation in the evening. “Playing” with your hair helps to relax: let it go if it has been tied up all day, and vice versa. Take off your beautiful (but sometimes not so comfortable) clothes and pretend you're Bridget Jones on vacation: in stretchy sweatpants, an XXL t-shirt, and soft slippers. Also get rid of makeup and “city dust”: remove makeup, wash and apply your favorite care products.
Order your favorite food home
Everything genius is simple: anyone will be happy with their favorite food, especially if you don't need to spend a lot of time preparing it. Order food home from work to have it delivered before your arrival. Enjoy!
Do sports
Life hack for office workers: sports help to relax after a working day. Even if it seems that you do not have the strength to even walk, believe me, it is an illusion. It can be really hard to get yourself going for a run or going to the gym, but it's worth it.
Do something creative
Perhaps you've always dreamed of painting or playing the piano? It is not necessary to attend courses for creative self-realization. Just get comfortable and start creating! The most important thing is to turn off perfectionism and treat creativity as a vacation, not as a second job.
Use relaxation techniques
There are many options here. There are many mobile apps that offer “quick relaxation in 15 minutes”. You can also meditate, but for beginners it will be more of a challenge than a rest. There are relaxation techniques before bed where you relax each muscle group in turn and as a result enter deep relaxation.
Go to digital detox
It's a familiar feeling when the working day seems to be over, but messages from the work e-mail still pour into the smartphone or, which is very sad, calls from clients or bosses. Set yourself the attitude: work stays at work. Of course, if you're a freelancer or salaried, you should learn harmonious time management. But if you are an employee with a clear work schedule, feel free to turn on the “do not disturb” mode and let everyone at work know that after the end of the working day you are on a well-deserved rest. Your nervous system will thank you for it. You can also set an answering machine (if you're really worried) that will politely ask everyone who wants to wait until tomorrow.
Take a bath
Finish our sample with a hot bath, the power of which we often underestimate. Before taking a hot bath, we recommend consulting a doctor about the presence of contraindications. But if everything is in order, then soak well in warm water, and then apply relaxing aromatic oils to the steamed skin.
