Using scratched pans can lead to the development of oncological diseases, said internist Poonam Desai.
According to her, microplastics get into food through scratches and chips on pans that have a non-stick or ceramic coating, and he, in his in turn, can stay in the human body for a long time.
Desai called microplastics an “endocrine disruptor” because it causes the development of dangerous diseases, including number of liver cancer.
The therapist recommended not to use pans with a non-stick coating, and if this is not possible, to throw away such dishes even with minor damage.
