Venislavskyi answered whether electronic summonses will be served in the near future

According to Fedor Venislavskyi, there is currently no discussion regarding the introduction of changes to the laws that could provide for the issuance of electronic summonses.

At present, electronic summonses will not be issued to Ukrainian citizens conscripted into the military, and the government and military leadership are not even considering such an opportunity. Fedir Venislavskyi, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, stated this.

“A consensus decision was made that it is premature at this time,” said Venislavskyi.

He specified, that this is the joint position of the Ministry of Defense, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Office of the President, and the specialized committee of the Council.

“There can be no electronic subpoenas”, – emphasized Venislavskyi.

The People's Deputy also stressed that the issue of the possible issuance of electronic summonses is not even raised at the moment.

In addition, according to Venislavskyi, there are currently no discussions on introducing changes to the laws that could provide for the notification or issuance of electronic summonses.
