Pies taste great with any filling. Meat, fruit, vegetable mixes – there can be a lot of options. One of the favorite fillings for many is onion with egg.  Recipe Ingredients

You will need the following products:

  • water – 200 ml;
  • mayonnaise – 1 tbsp.;
  • vegetable oil – 1 tbsp.;
  • sugar – 1 tbsp.;
  • dry yeast – 5 g;
  • flour – 300-350 g;
  • salt – 1 tsp.;
  • chicken eggs – 4 pcs.;
  • green onions – quantity as desired.

Basic cooking process

In a bowl, you need to combine warm water with sugar and dry yeast. With cold water, the yeast activation process will not work, so do not miss this important moment. Leave the bowl with the ingredients to “work” for 5 minutes.

Then you can add salt, mayonnaise and vegetable oil to the bowl. Mix everything thoroughly to a uniform consistency. Now sifted flour should be added little by little. Please note that the amount of flour may vary, as it all depends on its quality and characteristics. Knead the dough. When the dough is ready, put it back in the bowl, which you previously greased with a little oil and covered with a film. It should rest and rise for 1.5 hours.

For the filling, you need to hard-boil the eggs. Cut them into cubes, chop green onions and mix together. If you want, you can add a little more dill or parsley. Salt the filling. Now you can form the cakes and send them to the oven. At a temperature of 180 degrees, they are baked for 20-25 minutes. See the golden sides? Take them out, let them cool and enjoy. Delicious!
