It is quite difficult to wash old and dried fat from the walls of the microwave oven. Even special tools cannot always cope with such a problem. You can quickly and easily bring the equipment to its proper appearance using a proven method.

To do this, you will need one lemon and two to three tablespoons of baking soda. Preparation of the solution:

• Cut the lemon into small slices.
• Dissolve the baking soda in a glass of water and add the fruit.
• Pour the resulting solution into a suitable container and place in the microwave at medium power.
• After 10 minutes, remove the container from the oven.

Then wipe the microwave with a damp cloth or sponge – the fat and carbon deposits will easily come off the walls.

It is best to clean the microwave while it is still warm. If the old fat is not removed, the entire process must be repeated again.
