We cook during Lent: mushroom gravy for a side dish
During fasting, you can not only benefit your body, but also try new dishes. For example, like this one, from mushrooms.

Dried mushrooms (and they are better suited to this dish) are soaked overnight. Wash and boil in a small amount of water (so that it barely covers them). Be sure to add salt. Discard in a colander, but do not pour out the broth. Pass the mushrooms through a meat grinder and put them in the broth.
Then separately fry 1 diced onion and 4-5 large cloves of garlic in oil and add them to the mushrooms. Next, fry 3 tbsp. in a dry pan until it changes color. l. flour, mix with mushrooms and boil for 5 minutes. Add ground black pepper and, if necessary, more salt.
This sauce is good for flavoring various side dishes. It will give them a special taste!
