In some people, the body's natural defense against diseases is better developed than others, who are said to have a weak immune system.
The human body has an immune system that fights pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, and other disease-causing microbes. The main task of the immune system is to protect the body from diseases. If it is strong, then as soon as the pathogen enters the body, the body begins to fight this villain, preventing it from spreading. Even in those cases when infection occurs, the disease is not prolonged and is tolerated without serious consequences, and in the future the body is not susceptible to infection at all, because it has a strong immune memory.
But when the immune system is weak, everything happens differently.
Exhaustion and fatigue. Do you often feel tired or sleepy throughout the day? If the answer is positive, this may be due to a weak immune system.
Susceptibility to viruses, bacteria, fungi. If the immunity is not strong enough, almost all known pathogens begin to willingly attack the body.
Prolonged course of the disease. Our body is able to fight most pathogens on its own. If you are often seriously ill, your immune system may not be up to par.
Prone to allergies. If you have many different allergies, the unsightly cause may be a weak immune system, which the body simply cannot fight the allergens.
Poor wound healing. This may also be due to a lack of adequate protection.
Inflammation and infections. Do you have constant diarrhea, inflamed gums, stomach and intestinal infections? Immunodeficiency is possible.
Causes of the problem. A weak immune system can have various causes: lack of physical activity, stress, poor nutrition, lack of sleep make it difficult for the body's defenses to work. In addition, it can be affected by diseases: HIV infection, measles or autoimmune diseases, such as type 1 diabetes or celiac disease.
