An oncologist warned about the dangers of consuming foods after removing traces of mold from them.
An oncologist reported that some eating habits can have a detrimental effect on health and contribute to the development of cancer. One of them is the use of stale foods that have been stored in the refrigerator for a long time. The doctor called the habit of sending bread to the refrigerator and storing it for weeks harmful, and also advised not to buy other products, such as vegetables and cheese, in favor of it.
The doctor also drew attention to the danger of eating products spoiled by mold.
“If mold has slightly appeared on the bread or cheese crust, we cut off the spoiled edge and continue to use the product. You can't do that,” the doctor informed.
According to the oncologist, eating spoiled bread does not directly lead to cancer, but its consequences will reduce immunity and increase the risk of poisoning the body. In this regard, a malignant process may develop.
“The fungus that has formed on the product is extremely toxic, it can be more dangerous than many poisons,” the doctor emphasized.
He noted that even frying does not help save products affected by mold. One rule must be followed: products that are starting to spoil should not be consumed in any form, the doctor stated.
