In some cases, doctors observe how the tongue of patients is covered with a black coating. This happens when there is failure of bile drainage. The tongue itself can bleed and crack if a person develops dangerous diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
“Oncological diseases themselves cause a range of different processes: vitamin deficiency, increased sugar, decreased immunity. Since cancer can cause various accompanying diseases, plaque on the tongue can become one of them,” dentists say.
