One of the factors that predispose a person to cancer is loneliness.
Some features of people's lifestyle increase their risk of getting cancer – this is what the experts of the American Cancer Society said.
Chronic poor sleep, which does not allow a person to fully rest at night, can become a trigger for the development of cancer – in its case, the body can be exposed to inflammation, which causes specific cell mutations.
Another feature is life alone, especially if it is associated with constant worries about this.
“Loneliness increases the risk of developing a tumor, as it can cause the body's inflammatory response to stress.”
Habitually, that contributes to the development of cancer, oncologists also call alcohol abuse. Cancer of the breast and mouth, malignant tumors of the organs of the digestive tract – all of them are closely associated with drunkenness.
Oncologists also warn against self-administered vitamins, not agreed with a doctor. For example, they suggest, “supplements with beta-carotene and vitamin E increase the development of tumors in people who are already in the risk zone”.
Doctors also consider “binge-watching” TV to be an unfavorable feature, which accustoms a person to inactivity . This habit is associated with an increased likelihood of colon cancer – for this, it is enough to spend two hours a day sitting in front of the TV.
